Frequently Asked Questions
Although each group follows a curriculum pathway, to keep us well-balanced, each group is unique and its members decide how they want their group to run. Most groups have about 8-12 members.
Groups usually run from September through June, meeting every other week, although some prefer to meet weekly and run year round. Groups participate in socials together and at least one outreach project.
It is a goal of our groups to grow and multiply. With this in mind, potential leaders within each existing group are identified and trained to lead new groups after 18-24 months. This provides an ongoing supply of new groups to meet the continuing demand.
How long do I stay in a group?
Generally once you decide to join a group, we ask for a year commitment. Being committed to a group helps everyone know that you value the relationships you’re building and it encourages friendships that are more authentic because your group knows you’re in it for the long haul.
Complete the Get in a Group form and we’ll connect you.
